A Gentle Breeze

It is is like soft music, a gentle breeze.  Like the fingers of a harpist stroking the strings, moving the leaves.  Softly ever so softly the rustle.  Then a gust rustles the branches, the leaves flutter against one another loudly.  Then the sound softens again.

The wind chimes ring with the gentle air flowing through the tubes.  High pitched, then lower tones.  Then one single tone, then a burst of tubes against tube creating a joyful song to the air.

Together the rustle of leaves, the flutter of the branches, the chimes, it is like a symphony.  A great out door symphony.  Acorns hit the roof as if symbols smashing against one another adding just that extra sound to the mix.

It isn’t a symphony one can really capture to save yet it is a treat and always different which each breeze.  It is a gift for the day.  A gift to sooth the soul.  A gift to embrace while reading, painting or going about the day.  It brings a bit of calm with the soothing sounds.  The gentle nudge of the chimes.  The air cooler and more refreshing.

And so it is a gentle breeze, a joyful sound.  A beautiful symphony.  And the chimes ring happily in a gentle breeze.
