We are still here….

Amazing I awaken this morning, very refreshed and from a lovely dream.  The world still was evident.  The sun rose.  The cats hurried before to the kitchen for breakfast.  The coffee brewed.

There was however a newness.  Not something that one can exact or frame, yet a shift.  Maybe it was the subtle influence of that what if the world ended yesterday.  What if.  There was a strange aura hovering around the village yesterday.  Almost bleak, almost grey.  Doomsy like.  And then six o’clock came and of course the day went into night and the night evolved into this new day.

Yet somehow there was a shift.  I could feel it.  I could feel the change…the joy and the happiness. To think the fellow who predicted the end of the world could be right in an odd sort of way is crazy however maybe he set us up to actually look forward to the next day.  To be happy with life as we know it and to have a new day before us.  Maybe without him knowing it that was his message and if so well then we all can rejoice.

I do not feel he was right to influence so many followers to believe the end of the world was coming.  It is an unfortunate thing to do to people.  Yet with the media giving it play, the subconscious in all of us, I feel took note and while we laughed and joked about it, somewhere in all of us was that question.  So today we shift to the joy of a new day and know that life is good regardless of what we have setting in the middle of our path.
